Taylor Hicks appeared on the Megan Mullally show today. He did a song from his new cd "The Runaround." He spent a few minutes talking with Megan about the American Idol experience. It was very entertaining. Taylor is a great performer. Even tho the song didn't knock my socks off, it was still fun watching him perform.

Congratulations to Carrie Underwood for earning four Grammy Nominations. Carrie is nominated for Female Country Vocal Performance (for "Jesus Take The Wheel") and Best New Artist. In addition, "Jesus Take The Wheel" is nominated for Best Country Song and Song of The Year. These awards go to the songwriters. This is amazing for Carrie and I am sure she is ecstatic!

Good Luck to Carrie Underwood, and I hope she brings home some Grammy's next February!

Carrie Underwood won five Billboard Awards last week. She took home awards for Country Album of the Year, New Country Artist of the Year, Female Country Artist of the Year, Album of the Year and Female Billboard 200 artist of the Year. These awards are based on the Billboard charts!

You can now stream Taylor Hicks' debut CD online now! I just started listening to it, and so far it is pretty good! Taylor's CD comes out next Tuesday (on December 12th).

Katharine McPhee's debut album's release date has been pushed back several times, and it happened again. The new release date is January 30, 2006. I'm kind of interested to see how her sales will be because, A. she will miss out on all of the Holiday Sales, and B. It will be the longest any winner or runner up has waited to release their debut CD, with the exception of Justin Guarini and we all know how that turned out.  read more »

The tracklist for Taylor Hick's debut album has been released. Also, a couple of songs have leaked to the internet. The songs include "The Right Place," "The Runaround," and "Dream Myself Awake." The audio isn't really working for me right now, so I can't give a full review, but so far I really like what I hear! The Runaround sounds like it is a fun song!

After the stellar reviews Jennifer Hudson has gotten for her part in Dreamgirls, Clive Davis has decided to sign her to his record label. Jennifer said that she will begin recordinig in January.

Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood both took home some American Music Awards! Kelly won for favorite pop/rock female artist and favorite adult contemporary artist of the year while Carrie won for Favorite New Breakthrough Artist!
