Kellie Pickler To Star in Sitcom

Kellie Pickler placed 6th on American Idol last year, but so far she seems to be the only one doing much of anything. She already released her first album, and she has now signed a deal to star in her own sitcom!  read more »

Several Chris Daughtry songs have made their way online. One of the songs is his first single, "It's Not Over," and there are also clips of these songs: "Home," "Over You," and "Used To." I really like what I have listened to so far and am now really excited for his album.

You can listen to the songs on his myspace: myspace.com/daughtry. Chris's album "Daughtry" will be in stored on November 21st.

American Idol will begin it's sixth season on Tuesday January 16th. The premiere will be four hours, spread out over two nights. According to Simon, Seattle had the worst group of singers this time, but they weren't the only ones.

Carrie Underwood Wins Two CMAs

Carrie Underwood Wins Two CMAs

Carrie Underwood won two Country Music Awards the other night. Carrie won Female Vocalist of the year and the Horizon award! She was nominated for two other awards, but unfortunately did not win those.

Carrie's acceptance speeches were adorable, and she looked so happy to be honored with these awards! Congratulations to Carrie, and hopefully this success continues on in the future!

Faith Hill Angry Over Carrie's CMA Wins?

Carrie Underwood beat out Sara Evans, Faith Hill, Martina McBride and Gretchen Wilson for the Female Vocalist of the Year CMA, and Faith did not appear to be too happy. The camera was on Faith when Carrie was announced the winner, and she appears to be very angry, and shouts "WHAT?!?!" before storming off camera.

Faith's publicist said that Faith was very happy that Carrie won, and would never be upset over another artist winning, but I think the video speaks for itself.
