It’s my mother’s birthday coming up, and I always fall short on my gifts. She always likes what I get her, but then wishes I was just spending more time with her. I still want to get her something though, any thoughts?

There's this new dance competition show on lifetime tonight at 9 called Your Mama Don't Dance. These dancers bring their mother/father on the show as a dance partner. That would be funny to bring your mother on the show. Maybe you could take her to a dance class and see if she likes it and if she does you can pay for her lessons? I think that's something a little different yet fun.
