So, i thought i would do articles of what i think about each of the top 12, becase i am on spring break and bored...haha...you dont have to post them if you dont want though! Blake Lewis is one of my favorite top 12 contestants and I see him going pretty far. He has a lot of things going for him...he is unique, modern, a great enertainer and he has a great voice. The only thing that bothers me about Blake is the beatboxing. He said the first week of the Top 24 that he knew this was a singing competition and that he wasn't going to beatbox, but all of the judges said they missed the beatboxing so he has been doing it a lot lately. I don't mind it when Blake does it every once in a while, but if he does it every week it is going to get pretty annoying. Blake might run into trouble with the theme weeks, just because everyone knows what style he sings, so if he actually sings the style of the theme, he is going to be labeled a sell-out or Simon will say something about how it wasn't "Blake," but I think he will be able to pull it off. I see Blake Lewis finishing somewhere in the top 4-6, but he does have a chance to be our next American Idol.
